Anastasia Kobekina represents outstanding musicality, breathtaking technique, and an infectious personality. With her playing modern and historical instruments and her broad repertoire, she has made a name for herself as one of the exciting cellists of the younger generation. As a soloist, Anastasia Kobekina has performed with world-renowned orchestras such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra Moscow. The highlights of the coming seasons include concerts with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich under the direction of Paavo Järvi and the presentation of their debut album »Venezia« with the Basel Chamber Orchestra. 2024, the cellist will receive the Leonard Bernstein Award from the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
